Thank you for reaching out to TubeBuddy.  Recently YouTube made some updates to their Application Programming Interface (API).  In particular they deprecated the use of a feature called Statfire.  This is what we used to access the data we needed for features like our Channelytics, Videolytics and some core features for some of the tools on our website.

We had to make some adjustments in the way that we collect data for these tools, and in order to keep these features from acting buggy, lagging or pulling too much data from the API we went ahead and made some changes to them.  They are still available, but you will now need to take the extra step of turning these features on when you are interested in seeing data for competitor videos, channels etc.

We do apologize for the inconvenience, but we would also like to express some excitement in that this new system is going to open up new possibilities for the data that we access and allow for us to experiment with newer, better tools for you!

  Sincerely,
